Jeffery L. Hughes, 65, Duncansville, formerly of the Buckhorn, passed away Saturday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late George Sr. and Joyce (Burley) Hughes. He is survived by a daughter, Joyce Coleman; a grandson, Torin Coleman; and sisters, Mindy Billetdeaux and Darlene Arthurs; and many nieces and nephews. Jeffery retired from the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, carpentry and Steelers football. Friends will be received from noon until 1 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., 719 N. Fourth Ave., Altoona, where military honors will be held at 1 pm.
