James E. Hamilton Jr., 85, of Coalport, died Thursday. He was born in Beaver Valley, son of the late James E. Sr. and Dorothy (Gray) Hamilton. James was also predeceased by a brother, David; and grandsons, Gabriel and Adam. Surviving are his wife, Ethel; their children: Tina Leamer, Tammy Henry and James; a brother, Robert; sister, Sharon Anderson; sister-in-law, Ann Hamilton; and several grandchildren. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 1085 Main St., Coalport; and from 1 until the 2 p.m. funeral service Monday, March 3, 2025, at the funeral home.
