Hazel B. Wirfel, 89, of Loretto, passed away Sunday. She was born in Munster Township, daughter of the late Raymond Sr. and Margaret Freidhof. She was also predeceased by her husband, Ermin; and siblings: Henry, Thomas, Paul, Raymond Jr., George, Ethel, Margaret and Mary. Surviving are children: Veronica Krug, Barbara Schrift and Randy, David, Tony and Kevin Wirfel; many grandchildren; and siblings: Jane, Janet and Dorothy. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Basilica of St. Michael in Loretto. Arrangements by Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Portage.
