Gary D. Kauffman, 80, of Roaring Spring, died peacefully at home on Friday morning. He was the son of the late Robert and Betty (Peters) Kauffman.
He married Marsha Dick on Oct. 28, 1963.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marsha; two children: Lynnette Emigh (Kenneth) and Gary Kauffman (Brianne); four grandchildren: Nichole, Meghan, Andrianna and Zeth;
three great-grandchildren: Karahgan, Broxin and Keyarah; and three siblings: Kay, Kevin and Wally, all of Bear, Del.
Gary was a 1962 graduate of Central High School. He was a United States Navy veteran during the Vietnam era, serving aboard the USS Okinawa. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring.
