Esther E. Emeigh, 87, a resident at Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of Roaring Spring, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring. She was born in Henrietta, daughter of the late Earl Ralph and Vera M. (Brumbaugh) Kensinger.
On March 18, 1954, she married Paul Herbert Emeigh, who passed away July 10, 2009.
She is survived by four children: Shelly A. Barroner and husband, Bill, of Williamsburg; Cindy T. Ebersole and husband, Sam, of Roaring Spring; Denise L. Barnes and husband, Dave, of Roaring Spring; and P. Kelly Emeigh and wife, Sharon, of Martinsburg; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ralph "Bud" Kensinger of Martinsburg.
She was preceded in death by four siblings: Byron, Phyllis, Betty and Pauline.
Esther was a member of Faith Assembly of God, Roaring Spring where she taught Sunday school class.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Interment will be made in East Sharpsburg Cemetery.
