Cary A. "Terry" Bott Jr., 56, of Altoona, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, March 19, 2025, at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, a son of Cary A. Bott Sr. and the late Susan M. (Miller) Bott.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Cary Sr. and Sherry Bott of Altoona; and numerous extended family members.
Terry was preceded in death by a brother, Paul A. Bott.
Mr. Bott was a 1987 graduate of Altoona Area High School.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from July 1987 to June 1989.
Terry was employed as a boilermaker for the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.
He enjoyed playing video games, riding motorcycles and four-wheelers, and skiing.
Friends will be received from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona.
Interment will be made at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
