Burton L. "Burt" "Pop" Orwig, 88, of Hollidaysburg, died Jan. 13, 2025. He was born in Freeport, Ill., the son of the late Willis and Beatrice (Wilcox) Orwig. Surviving are his wife, Linda; children, Bob (Michelle) and Patte Nyanko (Joe); a nephew Mike; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Burt "Tyke" Jr.; siblings: Doris, Donna, Donald and Willis Jr.; and a nephew, Steve. Friends will be received from 4 until the 6 p.m. memorial service Friday, March 7, 2025, at First United Methodist Church, Hollidaysburg. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
