Betty L. Weyant, 93, of Queen, passed away Saturday at Maple Heights, Ebensburg. She was born in Bedford, daughter of the late Warren and Ella (Kauffman) Moses.
She was married to Clarence "Pete" Weyant.
Surviving are three grandchildren: Shawnelle Dively (Travis Weakland), Robbie Black and Derek Weyant (Kailee); four great-grandchildren: Lane, Lawson, Lennox and Lyla Grace Weyant; son-in-law, Robert Black; and former granddaughter-in-law, Lani Black.
She was preceded in death by a son, Johnie D. Weyant; a daughter, Jacqueline Y. Black; and several brothers and sisters.
Betty was a 1951 graduate of Bedford High School. She was employed as a housekeeper for several prominent families in the area.
She enjoyed spending time with family, being outside, watching cooking shows and her dog, "Lilly."
Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, with Mr. Darren Rightenour officiating.
