Barry L. Ayers, 82, of Fredericksburg, rural Martinsburg, died Sunday. He was born in Martinsburg, son of the late Glenn and Thelma (Brumbaugh) Ayers. Surviving are his wife, Lois; daughters, Cathy Davis and Susan Stone; grandchildren, Chris Davis and Bryan Stone; great-granddaughters, Ava and Amelia Davis; and siblings, Dennis Ayers and Janet Butler. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Clover Creek Church of the Brethren, rural Martinsburg; and from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Friday, March 7, 2025, at the church.
