Anna Marie Sell, 83, of Roaring Spring, passed away Wednesday at The Preserve at Cedarwood, Tyrone. She was born in Coalport, a daughter of the late Leroy and Evelyn (Weight) Murry.
In 1960 at Grace Gospel Church in Lakemont, she was united in marriage to Gerald Sell by Pastor Ralph Jones.
Along with her husband, Gerald, she is survived by her children: Todd Sell (Darla) of Jesup, Ga.; Craig Sell of Woodbury; Lisa Garman (Craig) of Hollidaysburg; and Melissa Bristol of Sarasota, Fla.; grandchildren: Jeremy Sell, Karinn Gartmann, Brandon Biddle, Christian Biddle and Aubree Garman; and great-grandchildren, Dax and Holden Gartmann.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Janice Sell.
Anna graduated from Hollidaysburg High School, Class of 1959. She worked as a secretary for Ward Trucking until she and Gerald married. She and Gerald went on to start G.E. Sell and Sons Construction.
She was a member of Altoona Bible Church, but most recently attended Grace Alive Church.
Friends and family will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona, with Pastor Tracy Plessinger officiating.
Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Alto-Reste Park.
