Sue Ann (Bumbernick) Zentack, 80, of Patton, passed away Thursday. She was born in Johnstown, the daughter of Clement J. and Helen G. (Weimann) Bumbernick.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Janet (Walter) Lushko; and infant brother, Ricky.
Surviving are daughters, Kerry (John) Kennedy and Yvonne (Jeff) Rupp; grandchildren: Celine (Bailey) Foster, Jacob (Paige) Rupp, Thomas Rupp and Autumn Kennedy; and great-granddaughter, Maylyn Rupp. She is also survived by a brother, Fred (Judy) Bumbernick; and her beloved pets: Daisy, Bridle, Ava and Lily Blue.
Sue Ann was a former member of the Johnstown figure skating club and the U.S. figure skating club, along with the Pittsburgh, Johnstown and Altoona chapters of Sweet Adelines, in addition to performing in local chorale groups in her hometown of Johnstown.
Her past work experience included working as a nurse’s aide at Columbia Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was also known to many as “Lady Clarabelle the clown,” where she truly lived her passion of entertaining children and working alongside the local fire companies that she supported throughout the years in Blair and Cambria counties.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, at Hindman Funeral Home, 146 Chandler Ave.,
Johnstown. Private family interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
