Sofie (Fumycz) Kennedy, 76, of Alexandria, passed away Saturday at Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was born in Munich, Germany, daughter of the late Dimytro and Milioa Fumycz.
She married Michael Kennedy in 1965.
Surviving are her husband of 59½ years; four daughters: Patricia, Melissa, Kathy and Michel; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five siblings.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sofie; and five siblings.
Sofie was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband.
Cremation services are by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
