Ronald D. Puleo

Ronald D. Puleo, 79, of Hastings, died Monday. He was born in Spangler, the son of Francis and Mary Puleo. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Price) Puleo; children, Rhonda (George) Churella and Ronald (Lisa) Puleo; and grandsons, Josh and Matt Churella. Ron was a coal miner at Greenwich Collieries and a mechanic who enjoyed working on tractors, cars and trucks. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Northern Cambria. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings. Committal at St. Bernard Cemetery.
