Keith A. Wallace, 58, Tyrone, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Sept. 1, 1966, in Groton, Conn., the son of the late David L. Wallace Sr. and Henrietta J. Dively.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia M. (Settle); daughters, Melissa (Chuck) Benton and Lisa (Shawn) Warner; six grandchildren: Aidan, Alexis, Makayla, Brylee, Alaina and Boston; two stepgrandchildren: Madeline and Landon; and sisters, Lillian (Earl) Settle and Carla (Jeff) Queen.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Keith Jr.; and his brothers, David Wallace Jr. and Henry Wallace.
Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and was a member of the NRA. He loved watching football, living on a farm in the mountains and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Keith was always interested in staying informed about world affairs and loved to share his insights with others. He was a state inspection mechanic for many years and was also a proud holder of a CDL Class A license. Keith was a jack-of-all-trades, an exceptional problem solver and loved passing on his wisdom to future generations.
He had a heart of gold, generous spirit and always wanted the best for everyone. With his passing, the world has lost a shining light, but his legacy of kindness and love will live on in our hearts. May he rest in peace in the arms of our Lord.
Friends and family will be received from 2 until the 4 p.m. service on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona, the Rev. Carl Schmidt Sr., officiant. Arrangements by Jones Funeral Home, an Anderson Family Firm, 1222 13th St., Altoona.
