Jane A. Bastian

Jane was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Gerald and Elda Jane (Potter) Funk.

On May 3, 1956, she married Ralph Bastian, who preceded her in death in 1999.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Debbie Kane of Tyrone; her grandson, Brandon Kane, who was her pride and joy; and a nephew, Allan Bastian. She will also be missed by a special young lady, Mea Emily.

Jane was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine and Susan Funk.

She was a graduate of Altoona High School and enjoyed drawing, dancing, listening to music and watching movies and television shows.

Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park at the convenience of the family.

There will be no other public funeral services.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Central PA Humane Society, 1837 Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602, in Jane’s memory.
