Dolores J. Hendrickson, 90, a resident of the Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, formerly of Duncansville, died Thursday morning at the home. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late William D. and Alice (Smith) Dugan.
She married Charles C. Hendrickson on Dec. 27, 1980, in Duncansville. He preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 2005.
Surviving is a stepdaughter, Barbara Golding (Thomas) of Philipsburg; a stepdaughter-in-law, Marsha Hendrickson of Driftwood; a sister-in-law, Vivian “Biddy” Dugan of Hollidaysburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and her close friend, Mary Jo Campolong of Duncansville.
She was preceded in death by all six of her siblings: Miriam Cruse, Millicent Kempfer, Garnett Dugan, Martha Chamberlain, Goodling Dugan and David Dugan; and her stepson, William Hendrickson.
Dorrie was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and word searches.
She was a member of Hicks Memorial Methodist Church, where she assisted in the Kitchen Class.
Friends will be received from 1 until the 2 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home &
Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville. The Rev. Rich Morris will officiate. Interment will take place at Geeseytown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hicks Memorial Methodist Church, 1211 Third Ave., Duncansville, PA 16635; and/or a charity of your choice.
