Barbara Joan (Rakar) Kitko

Barbara Joan (Rakar) Kitko, 81, formerly of Hegarty’s Crossroads, died Sunday. She was born in Ginter, daughter of the late George and Rosalie (Andras) Rakar. She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, James Cervenak; and a daughter -in-law, Donna Kitko. Surviving are her husband, Frederick; children: Angela, Brenda, Frederick and Michael; her grandchildren; and sisters, Rosemary and Susan. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, at Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home, Houtzdale. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1 p.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale.
