Linda Cathleen (Porter) Cummings, 77, Altoona, passed away Friday at her home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Lee C. and Betty L. (Hall) Porter.
She is survived by a daughter, Laurie Scholl of Fayette City; two grandsons, Ryan Treadwell (Sarah) and Brennan Treadwell (Paige); two granddaughters, Caelan Scholl (fiance, Steven) and Eryn Scholl; great-grandchildren: Hudson, Callaghan,
Kristopher, Matthew and Emerson; a sister, Susan Porter Burns; and a sister-in-law, Marie Porter.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and the father of her grandsons, David W. Treadwell.
She was preceded in death by siblings: Laura A. Gipe, Stephen L. Porter and James L. Porter; and a great-nephew, Jackson Burns.
Linda retired from Altoona Hospital in May 2012 where she worked as a registered nurse.
She enjoyed Steelers football, reading and especially loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.
No public services will be held. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., 719 N. Fourth Ave., Altoona.
