Carl W. “Pappy” Dodson, 96, Altoona, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025, at his residence. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025, at E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., 2309 Broad Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. A complete obituary will appear in a future edition of the Mirror.
