Pamela Anne Close, 69, of Allemans, died Saturday. She was born in Detroit, Mich., daughter of the late Leslie and Lucille Blankenship. Surviving are her husband, C. Zane Close; and a daughter, Amber D. Close of San Diego, Calif. In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by a brother, Leslie. She enjoyed collecting antiques, traveling with her husband and raising Sheltie dogs. Pam was a member of Allemansville United Methodist Church. There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
