Thomas Joseph Link

April 1, 1955 – Nov. 8, 2024

Thomas Joseph Link, 69, East Freedom, passed away into Glory in Plant City, Fla., after a long fight with chronic kidney failure. Tom was born to Bernard J. and Helena M. (Earnest) Link in Lilly.

He was a 1973 graduate of Penn Cambria High School and a 1977 graduate of Saint Francis College.

On Nov. 18, 1978, he married the love of his life, Holly Joy (Biddle) and was blessed to have his best friend by his side for the next 46 years.

Surviving are his wife; three sons: Jason (Lyndsay) Link of Duncansville,

Joshua Link of East Freedom and David Link of East Freedom; and his baby girl, Brandi Sue (Timothy) Wilkins of Altoona. The pride of his life was the legacy he left behind with his grandchildren: Makenzie, Kendall, Chase, William and Maxwell.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom enjoyed spending every moment with his family and always said his home is Christ's home. He welcomed anyone at any time, but his favorite visitors were always his grandkids. Outside of the home, he was always traveling to see one of their activities, whether it was in California, Florida, Connecticut, Williamsport or his favorite -- in his backyard. Everyone knew they were his pride and joy within minutes of meeting him.

A celebration of life will be scheduled in the near future.

We can praise God today as we celebrate him hearing the words he always longed for, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
