Zachary S. Smola, 60, of Duncansville, died Thursday. He was born in Altoona, a son of Terry and Janet (Longenacker) Karlie.
On Aug. 7, 2024, he married Georgean L. McCartney in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Tawny; his grandson, Royce; his parents; two siblings, Tabitha Rhodes and Troy Karlie; his mother-in-law, Jean A. McCartney; two brothers-in-law, Mark (Delcie) and Perry McCartney; a niece and nephews; and his canine companion, Bailey.
Zachary was employed at Clemens Food Group.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of his family.
