Mary L. (Cox) Chamberlain, 85, of Roaring Spring, went home to be with the Lord on Monday after a brief illness. She was born in Lovely, the daughter of the late William and Mame (Harr) Cox.
She married Andrew J. Chamberlain on July 7, 1958. He died July 31, 2023.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Sherry Yingling, and husband, Daniel, of Roaring Spring; four grandchildren: Kayla Snyder, Cheyenne Dodson (AJ), Heather Strayer and Jesse Chamberlain (Mandy); 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grand-children.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Rodger A. Chamberlain and Terry E. Chamberlain; a grandson, Matthew T. Chamberlain; a sister; and two brothers.
Mary enjoyed gardening, baking, reading, traveling, target shooting, fishing and especially loved spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 1 until the 4 p.m. funeral service Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, at Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring.
Interment will be made in Carson Valley Cemetery.
