Terry Lynn Shelow, 61, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday after a brief illness. He was the son of Herbert and Shirley (Myers) Shelow in Altoona.
He graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1981.
Surviving are his daughter, Emily Shelow; siblings: James Shelow (Barb) of Carlisle, Debbie Phelps of Canton, Ohio, Mark Shelow of Altoona and Kim Plummer (Sergio Carmona) of Pennsylvania Furnace. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Shirley Shelow; as well as a brother, David Shelow.
Terry was of the Christian faith. He was employed in LED lighting at Blair Image Elements.
He will be remembered as someone who was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He had an amazing sense of humor, a twinkle in his eye and loved to laugh with family and friends.
Terry enjoyed the relaxing activities of camping and fishing and had a passion for classic cars.
Friends and family will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2024, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona. A service will immediately follow at the funeral home.
