Richard B. "Dick" Manocchio, 80, of Altoona, died unexpectedly late Friday evening. He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Blaine J. and Theresa M. (Laraia) Manocchio.
Dick was employed for more than 15 years at Union Tank Car Co., Altoona. He was also a caretaker at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Altoona.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, where a Service of Remembrance will be held at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Dick to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, would be appreciated.
