Marc Anthony Cook, 51, played many roles in his lifetime before his unexpected death Tuesday. First, that of a son and little brother, later a big brother, a heartbreaker, a musician, a trouble-maker, a writer, a friend, a nature lover and one of his most significant roles, a father. Most people he met commented on his good looks and his bright blue eyes -- the same eyes shared by his mother, Maryann, and his siblings: Heidi, Christopher, Angelle and Brittany.
Marc was born in Altoona, the son of Maryann Cook (Petta). After high school, Marc created a life full of friends, family, music and conversation.
He is survived by his parents, Maryann and Russell; his oldest daughter, Bryelle; a grandchild, Eiley; and his son, Elijah.
Marc was one of five siblings, all of whom are still living, including his older sister, Heidi (Brian) and their son, Daniel; his younger brother, Chris (Jen) and their children: Parker, Ohwen and Gabriel; a sister, Angelle (Ryan); and sister, Brittany.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, at Second Avenue United Methodist, 130 Second Ave., Altoona. All who loved him are welcome to join.
