Norman D. "Norm" Hatfield, 52, Hollidaysburg, peacefully passed away Sunday morning at his home.
He was born in Altoona, son of Jean (Phelan) Hatfield.
Surviving are his beloved mother, Jean of Altoona; beloved daughter, Haleigh A. Hatfield of Pittsburgh; significant other, Mandy Gildea of Hollidaysburg; a brother, Bill Hatfield of Altoona; a sister, Lori Baumgardner of Summerhill; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Hatfield.
Norm was a 1989 graduate of Altoona Area High School and went on to receive certification in drafting from Triangle Tech, Greensburg. He was employed for 17 years by Holliday Hills, Hollidaysburg and most recently by Spring Manor Apartments, Hollidaysburg.
His greatest joy was raising his daughter, Haleigh. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and watching sports, especially football and baseball.
His infectious smile, kindness and humbleness will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
