Daisy Mae (Feathers) Steele

She was born June 14, 1942 in Claysburg, daughter of the late Brady and R. Mae (Claycomb) Feathers. She married Ronald Glass, who

preceded her in death on May 14, 1971. On April 12, 1973, she married Joe Steele.

Surviving is her husband, Joe; children: Pamela Glass of Claysburg, Mark Glass and wife, Amy, of Newport News, Va., and Amy Iafolla

and husband, Tony, of Baltimore, Md.; grandsons: Matthew Musselman, Michael and Hunter Glass; a great granddaughter, Sadie Musselman; a stepson, Michael Steele and wife, Rose, of Indiana, Pa.; a son-in-law, Glenn Musselman of East Freedom; and a sister, Catherine Kintz of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Musselman; and a sister, H. Eileen Falldorf.

She was a 1960 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School. She was primarily a homemaker, but was also employed at Cove Shoe, Morrisons Cove Livestock Market and as a school bus driver. She was a member of Lower Claar Church of the Brethren and served on the Claysburg-Kimmel School Board for over 20 years. She was also a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Daisy enjoyed plaiting rugs and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at Leslie-

Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at the Lower Claar Church of the Brethren, Allen Sell officiating. Interment will be at Upper Claar Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
