Susan Ann (Martin) Geesey Dabby, 72, of Spring Mills, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona after a prolonged illness. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Chester Victor and Ellen Beatrice (Share) Martin.
Surviving are her husband, Lynn Bryan Slemons; two sons, Joel Martin Geesey and Mark Andrew Geesey; four grand-children; three great-grandchildren; four stepchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Janet Martin Macan; a niece; and a nephew.
Susan graduated from Hollidaysburg Senior High School in 1969 and from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1985. She worked at Mercy Hospital as a registered nurse in the Telemetry Unit and ICU, and then retired from Encompass Health after 21 years of service in 2021.
Susan enjoyed gardening, reading and all things family.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
Private interment at Alto-Reste Park.
