Blase D. Raia, 39, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday at his residence. He was born in Altoona, son of Warren W. II and Linda J. (Bowers) Raia. He married Brooke Zimmerman in 2022.
Surviving are a daughter, Blakely; four sons: Blase Jr., Brennan, Kamden, Easton; his parents of Altoona; a grandmother, Christine Raia; two sisters: Yetta Smith and Jolene Betar; two brothers: Warren Raia III and Brad Miller; cousins, aunts and uncles, and nieces and nephews.
Blase graduated from Altoona High School and worked as a machinist gang-leader at Norfolk Southern.
He was co-founder of Corona Lockdown Practice Tree League with his friend, Bob Welsch.
Blase enjoyed motorcycles, drag racing, hunting, bowling, and spending time with his children.
Friends will be received from 2-4pm on Tuesday Jan 2, 2024 at Salvation Army Church: 1813 6th Ave. Altoona, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 4pm with Pastor Larry Fumler.
