Taylor M. Miller, 65, of Duncansville, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Monday. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Justus Paul and Shirley Marie (Betar) Miller.
Taylor was greeted in heaven by her parents; a brother, Wadid "Woody" Miller; and nephew, Jordan Miller.
Surviving are three siblings: brother, Justus Paul Miller II and his wife, Laurie, of Duncansville; brother, James F. Miller and his wife, Penny, of Altoona; and sister, Clarissa A. "Crissi" Miller of Mount Joy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Taylor was a graduate of Altoona Area High School. She worked for Investment Savings Bank for 29 years.
Taylor was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family and church. She was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Altoona.
She enjoyed worshiping the Lord, Sunday dinners spent with her family, spending time with friends while following country singer Trace Adkins and the Dallas Cowboys, and organizing bus trips to Sight and Sound Theater. She loved spoiling the family dogs with endless treats, who we all know will miss her greatly. Most recently, Taylor got to enjoy her new great-niece and was looking forward to buying her first fancy Christmas dress.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, at the funeral home, with Pastor Gary Dull officiating. Entombment will be held privately at Alto-Reste Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Faith Baptist Church, 315 40th St., Altoona, PA 16602.
