She is also survived by her beautiful daughter, Amira, who was the love of her life; her stepfather, Robert Lantz; a brother, Ryan (Cristina) Duffey; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Sally Keefer of LeMoyne; and her loving dog, Jackson.

Shannon was a 2010 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School and later a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York.

She worked several years as manager for Target. She studied the art of dance with Sigel’s School of Dance for many years, including instructing. Shannon was also passionate about art and drawing.

Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 10, 2023, in the Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534 Fourth St., Altoona, where a funeral service will follow the visitation at 5 p.m., Pastor John Gray of Hope Community Church officiating.
