Stephen Wayne Wilson

He married Lauren Dionis on May 23, 2009, at Edgewater Acres in Alexandria, Pa.

Surviving are his wife; and a stepson, Jimmy Steinbugl, and his wife, Megan, of Altoona; a granddaughter, Evelyn Steinbugl; a brother, Rodney Wilson, and his family of New Philadelphia, Ohio; the family of his late sister, Susan Curfman; his mother-in-law, Patricia Dionis; a sister-in-law, Kim Dionis and her husband, Steve Williams; a niece, Aleta DeVeau; and furry friends: Buddy, Lucky, Coal and Bob.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Curfman; and his father-in-law, Robert Dionis.

Stephen attended Penn State University for two years.

He retired in 2016 after working seven years as a utility plant operator for SCI-Huntingdon and then at SCI-Smithfield. He had previously worked for IBEW Electrical Union.

Stephen was of the Methodist faith.

He loved spending time with his granddaughter, Evie, trains, gardening and volunteering at the Dudley Food Bank. He also enjoyed canning, sharing the produce from his garden and sitting on his deck watching the deer. Stephen was an avid Steelers fan.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, at Cutright Funeral Homes, 313 Fairgrounds Road, Huntingdon. Interment will be private at Cassville Cemetery.
