members of her loving family. She was born in East Freedom, daughter of the late Samuel P. and Susan R. (Walter) Glass. On Jan. 27, 1966, she married Herbert J. Walter at Leamersville Church of the Brethren, and they shared 50 years of marriage.

Surviving are a son, Steven; sisters: Mabel Snowberger, Linda Welch and Deborah Gardner; brothers, Elvin Glass and Melvin Glass; and special friends: Marshall Neff, Ty Maxwell and Trey Maxwell; as well as many loving family members.

Judy was a 1965 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. She retired from John Yingling Insurance and was previously employed by Giant Eagle.

Judy was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her extended family and often cooking for them, working in her flower beds, thrift shopping and loving her furry friends. Judy’s love of Christ was apparent in her everyday life. She will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023, from 3 until the 6 p.m. funeral service at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, with Pastor Mark Lingenfelter officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to one of Judy’s favorite groups: the members of Claysburg-Kimmel FBLA, 531 Bedford St., Claysburg, PA 16625.
