Douglas S. Betar, 61, of Plum, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023.
He was the beloved father to Anna Betar and Ross Betar and son to Walter Betar.
Doug was an avid golfer. He also coached basketball for Lock Haven University and was a major sports lover. Doug loved going on vacation with his family to Hilton Head Island.
Soxman Funeral Homes Ltd., 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road), Penn Hills, has been entrusted with the arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at Living Word of Plum.
