Wendy L. (Garrison) Smith, 57, of Warriors Mark, passed away Wednesday at her residence after complications from a fall. She was born in Altoona, daughter of William Gary and Karen (Harshbarger) Garrison. She married Robert D. Smith in 2000.
Surviving are her husband of 23 years; her father, of Port Matilda; and her mother, of Duncansville; three brothers: Russell Garrison (Dawn), Travis Garrison and Gary Jr. (Jaimie); and several nieces and nephews.
Wendy graduated from Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School in 1984 and attended Penn State University.
She was owner and operator of Bree-Z-Acres event venue in Warriors Mark.
Wendy grew up in the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren.
She enjoyed life and people, and her dog, Daisey. Growing up, Wendy spent a lot of time at her neighbors, the McKee's.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Bradley Runkle officiating.
Private interment at Carson Valley Cemetery.
