Linda Lee Kehoe

Linda Lee Kehoe, 73, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Robert and Barbara (Redline) Foust.

She was united in marriage to Hugh Kehoe, and together they forged a bond that would endure the tests of time.

In addition to her husband, she leaves behind a daughter, Allison Kehoe (Melvin Grassmyer II); and three beloved grandchildren: Robert and Madolyn Kenner and Charlie Grassmyer. She also leaves behind a brother; three sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda's passion for nursing became evident early on, and she diligently pursued her dreams. She graduated from Altoona High School, Class of 1967, and her dedication to her profession led her to complete her nursing education at Altoona School of Nursing, graduating with the Class of 1968. Throughout her career, she served as an LPN at Altoona Hospital and concluded her professional journey at Altoona Lung Specialist, where she made a profound impact on the lives of countless patients.

Outside her professional life, Linda was an adventurer at heart. She found joy in exploring the vast landscapes of the country, traversing far and wide with her loved ones by her side. Her winters in Florida were a time of solace, basking in the sun's warmth and creating cherished memories with those dear to her.

Animals held a special place in Linda's heart, and her compassion extended beyond humans. She generously shared her free time by volunteering at various organizations, making a positive difference in the lives of countless animals and those who cared for them.

Linda Lee Kehoe lived a beautiful and fulfilling life.

Friends and family will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Saturday, July 29, 2023, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona, with Pastor Carl Leipold officiating.
