James F. Claycomb

James F. Claycomb, 89, of Bedford, formerly of New Paris, died Thursday. He was a son of the late Joseph and Olive Claycomb. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; and siblings: Evelyn Braman, Harriet Miller and Joseph “Ed” Claycomb. Surviving are a son, Jeffrey; a grandson, Breton; granddaughters: Erin and Amber Claycomb; and sisters: Norma Ferguson, Violet Aveni and Linda ‘Jeannie” Frost. James was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. service full military rites on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, Bedford.
