Doris M. (Glunt) Robertson, 90, of Hollidaysburg, went home to be with the Lord on Friday at her residence. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Fred and Annie (Claycomb) Glunt.
She married Leroy Robertson, who preceded her in death in 2014 after 63 years of marriage.
Surviving are three daughters: Kathy Snyder, Patricia Walk and Carolyn Weyandt and her husband, Chalmer; three sons: Dave and his wife, Betty, Bruce and his wife, Kathy, and James and his wife, Cindey; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruby Houck; a brother, Ralph Glunt; and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl.
She was preceded in death by a son, Neil; a grandson, Dan Walk Jr.; a great-grandson; a great-granddaughter; siblings: C. Fern Putt, Verna Shaw, Vera Shaffer, Kathryn Marketta, Paul, Harold and Dale Glunt, Beulah Vaughn and Sylvia Ward; and two sons-in-law, Ray Snyder and Daniel Walk Sr.
Doris graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1951 and worked at Sylvania, becoming proprietor of Evergreen Knoll for 30 years.
She was a member of Berean Baptist Church, where she formerly served as Treasurer of the Senior Ambassadors, and organized Military Boxes at Christmastime.
Doris enjoyed reading, spending time with all her grandchildren, and cooking for the Share-A-Thon for many years at WJSM Radio.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Berean Baptist Church; and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2023, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Barry Fry officiating.
Private interment at Blair Memorial Park.
