David J. Chverchko

David J. Chverchko, 87, Ashville, died Friday at UPMC Altoona. Born in Patton, he was the son of the late John P. and Veronica A. Chverchko. Surviving are his wife, Mary Olive; children: Mary Anne, Ruth, John, Warren, Daniel, Doris, Lucy, Diane, David C., Jennifer, Sharon, Sandra and Matthew; and siblings: Fred, Joanne, Tom, Bob, Janet, Theresa and Richard. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ashville, at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023.
