Wesley W. Hawkins, 64, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Sunday afternoon. He was born in Huntingdon, son of the late George W. and Myra (Foster) Hawkins.
He married Patti Brenneman on May 31, 1986.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years; a daughter, Alicia of Hollidaysburg; a sister, Gayla Hawkins in South Carolina; a brother, Jason Hawkins, and his wife, DeAnn, in Oregon; and several nieces and nephews.
Wes graduated from Huntingdon High School in 1976 and York College in 1981 with a B.S. in criminal justice.
He retired as a corporal from the Pa. State Police in 2008 after 25 years service.
Wes was a member of Mount Moriah Lodge No. 300 F&AM.
He was also a member of Hollidaysburg First United Methodist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and spending time in the woods. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his daughter was his pride and joy.
Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Hollidaysburg First United Methodist Church, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m.
