Richard Paul Howard Jr., 46, of Altoona, passed away Thursday at his home after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Richard P. and Charlotte L. (Duck) Howard Sr.
Surviving are his son, Bryson Eldridge; sister, Vicki Hall; special friend, Cheryl Nale; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Richard was a 1994 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He formerly worked as a team member for Sheetz for 26 years. Richard enjoyed collecting baseball cards and listening to country music. Most importantly, he cherished time spent with his family and cat, Simba.
A Celebration of Life service will be scheduled for a later date. Arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home, 1222 13th Ave., Altoona. Condolences may be made at JonesFHAltoona.com.
