Francis J. "Frank" Rafacz, 67, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away Dec. 14, 2022.
He was born in Spangler, son of the late Frank and Rita (Brown) Rafacz.
Surviving are siblings: Barbara Rossi; Sharon Sanders and her husband, Walter; John Rafacz; and Rita Rife; nieces: Emma and Tess Sanders, Stephanie Rife and Sarah Rafacz; nephews: Jacob Rossi, Michael Rife and Daniel Rafacz; great-niece, Hannah Majofsky; great-nephews, John and Eli Majofsky; aunt, Irene Zajac; uncle, Ken Brown and his wife, Carol; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Jennifer Quick; and brothers-in-law, John Rife and Peter Rossi.
Raised in Fallentimber, he was a graduate of Glendale High School, Flinton, and also attended Pennsylvania State University, Altoona Campus.
Francis was a chartered financial consultant and chartered life underwriter through The American College, Bryn Mawr, and held Series 6, 7 and 63 licenses. He retired from Commonwealth Financial Services in Parkersburg, W.Va. He previously worked for many years in management with the J.C. Penney Co.
Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the funeral home by a family friend.
Inurnment will take place at the convenience of the family at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
