Bohn

Loretta Mae Bohn, 76, Altoona, passed away unexpectedly Friday at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Charles Weyandt and Margaret McMasters. She was raised by her grandmother, Ella Stiffler, who was a mother to her in every way possible. On July 3, 1965, she married John Bohn, and they enjoyed 58 years together.

Surviving are her husband, John; her daughter, Kim Andrews, and her children: Rachel, David and Leah Lattieri; her son, Jason, and his wife, Maryann, along with their daughters: Jeana, Valery and Stephanie Bohn; numerous siblings; great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Brett Andrews; and nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Loretta started her career in television broadcasting at WTAJ in 1965 before she became a homemaker to raise her children. She and her husband John then created Starfleet Video Productions in Altoona, where they worked side by side as a team for many years.

Her life revolved around her home and family. She was a self-taught musician. Loretta enjoyed Disney World trips, working outside, going to car shows and spending time with family. She was especially fond of the Christmas season because Christmas meant time with her loved ones. She enjoyed attending church at Altoona Bible Church.

Friends and family will be received from noon until 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto Reste Park, Altoona.

Burial will be held at Alto-Reste Burial Park at the convenience of the family.

If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Loretta to Day One of Greater Altoona, 1212 13th Ave., Altoona, PA 16601.
