Hugh Caskey, 88, Irvona, died Thursday. He was born in Blain City, Pa., the son of Elizabeth Bertha (Markel) and Leroy Doris Caskey. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; children: Stephanie Saracco, Beth Lloyd and Richard and David Caskey; several grandchildren; a sister, Sara Jeankey; and numerous other extended family members. He served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves from 1957-63. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Coalport Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville.
