Cherrie Marie Henry, 64, of Altoona, died Tuesday at home. She was born in Spangler, daughter of Charles E. and Arlene F. (Campbell) Henry.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Surviving are her mother, Arlene Henry (Dan Mortimer); her partner, Fred Imler II; son, Andrew Callahan; grandson, Mason Imler; brothers: David (Maureen), Henry and Jerry (Yvonne) Henry; sister, Yvonne (Joe) Trimble; nieces: Annie (Paarth) Shah, Kim (Thomas) Fleming and Kelly (Edgar) McElheny; nephews: Adam (Heather) Clarkson, Jacob Henry and Kevin Henry (Jeanette Spaid).
Cherrie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, her little dog, Banjo, gardening, riding horses, traveling and playing pinochle.
She was employed for 22 years at Penn State Altoona, where she began her career on April 2, 2001.
A Celebration of Life service will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Utahville United Methodist Church.
