James "Jim" Hoffman, 53, passed Tuesday after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, the son of Pat and the late Ronald Hoffman.
Surviving are his three daughters: Katie, Haley and Shannyn; a son, Zach; stepson, Travis; brothers, Steve and Travis; grandmother, Sara; and six beautiful grandchildren.
Jim was a decorated veteran, lifetime member of Duncansville VFW and frequent volunteer at the VFW food bank.
Jim will be met at the rainbow bridge by his beloved German Shepherd, Buster.
Friends will be received from 2 until the 4 p.m. funeral service Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
