Roberta L. Hoover
We are sad to announce the passing of Roberta L. Hoover, 79, Altoona, who passed away on Oct. 13, 2022, at the home of her loving sister, Anne Schwern, and niece, Tina Schwern, after a battle with cancer.
She is survived by her sister, Anne Schwern of Enfield, Conn.; a niece, Tina Schwern of Enfield, Conn.; a nephew, Paul Schwern of Essex Fells, N.J. (wife, Dana Schwern); a grandniece, Olivia Schwern; and a grandnephew, Jake Schwern.
She was a graduate of Springfield Technical Community College and worked as a medical laboratory technician.
Roberta was an independent free spirit with a passion for drawing and writing poems.
