William A. Fisher, 65, Altoona, died Wednesday. He was born in Salem, Ohio, son of the late Edgar and Sandra (Sparks) Fisher. He first married Patty Edwards, who preceded him in death. He then married Helen Price in 1981. Surviving is his wife of 41 years; sons: Christopher of Smithton, and John, James and Joshua Haddock, all of Altoona; grandchildren; and siblings, Crystal Fisher and James Mowery. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas. Bill was proprietor of Fisher & Sons Paving. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday Aug. 19, 2022, at Community Baptist Church, Altoona.
