Frank J. Blair, 70, Altoona, passed away Monday at his residence. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Frank J. and Mildred (Madigan) Blair.
Surviving are his daughter, Courtney Blair of Altoona; his sisters: Linda J. James of Altoona, Susan Blair Kluttz in North Carolina and Janet Maloney of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Patricia Blair.
Frank was a 1970 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
He retired from the Gingrich Agency as an insurance agent and was previously a teacher at St. Therese of The Child Jesus and Principal of St. Mark's Catholic School.
He was a member of Rotary Club of Altoona and past president of the UVA.
Frank was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan who also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and his dog, Zoe.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at the Stevens Memorial Chapel, with Father Carl Spishak officiating.
